Nature paints in colours only the heart can comprehend.
Yes, it is a lively and charming little town. Every time I'm in the area I take one day off from island hopping and beaches and go visit El Nido instead. People are incredibly friendly, everybody smiles at you or talks to you, all the kids give you a very polite greeting, and nobody is ever pushy trying to sell you things or asking for a hand-out. Absolutely refreshing!
Btw. - remember the "Neighbourhood of Good Luck"? [link] That's just straight ahead and a bit to the right.
